CHARGERS OUTFITTERS PRESENTS LUNAFLY LIVE IN MALAYSIA
Chargers Outfitters Rewards Lucky Fans with a Treat to Shop with Lunafly
Kuala Lumpur, Sunday, March 31, 2013 – Chargers Outfitters, a leading casual wear brand, is proud to present the latest Youtube K-Pop sensation, Lunafly, live in Malaysia.
According to the Chief Operating Officer of Jordone Corporation Sendirian Berhad, Eric Loke, Chargers Outfitters believes in supporting young talents who aspire to realise their dreams.
“We’re very excited to be the presenter of the F.Y.I on stage with Lunafly in Malaysia simply because they symbolize Chargers Outfitters’ brand concept – young and energetic. We embarked on this partnership with Lunafly as we firmly believe in the need to support young and new talents in the music industry by giving them a platform to perform,” said Loke.
Loke went on to explain that Lunafly’s band image is in line with Chargers Outfitters brand. The Chargers Outfitters’ active and comfort range is designed with the young generation in mind.
“We believe it is through events like this, bright and young talents are given an opportunity to fulfil their aspirations and dreams. After all, Chargers Outfitters is designed for the young people with dreams,” he continued.
The mini concert, dubbed “F.Y.I On Stage with Lunafly in Kuala Lumpur” was held at Taylor’s University Lakeside Campus on 30th March 2013. Lunafly debuted in the second half of 2012 and gained attention after climbing music charts with their self-composed track “How Nice It Would Be”. The band gained attention for their musical abilities and outstanding live performances as they often took on various street performances and music covers on YouTube, acquainting themselves with music lovers and their fans on a more personal level.
As this was their first visit to Malaysia, Chargers Outfitters rewarded some of the lucky fans for their support with the opportunity to get up close and personal with Lunafly through a contest on Facebook. Fifteen lucky winners were selected and treated to shopping spree with Lunafly at Outfitters Studio in AEON Cheras Selatan on March 31.
“We are always evolving and in tune with the new generation. What they like and how they think are very important to us. We are not afraid to change. But yet, we still hold true to our belief that is ‘we are what we are’,” Loke added.
Loke continued to say that this is the beginning of a series of activities from Chargers Outfitters’ to engage with consumers and rewarding them for their continuous support to the brand.
The new Chargers Outfitters collection is called ‘Electric City’. The collection is inspired by the vibrant and positive vibes of the bright lights in the cities of the world. Black, white and blue are the key colours of the collection. As for the graphic tees, ideas from photos of the major cities in the world are used. Street art with vibrant colours are also made visible in the designs.
